Anyone feel drained from recovering from TSW? Does the tiredness go away noticeably afterwards for those who have come out of it. I’m 2 years in and seems like it’ll be a long road for me.

2022.01.25 02:08 YouAreAFuckingNoob Is it bad not to do what the course wants me to?

I've purchased the Angela Yu course on Python. I'm doing everything she put on the course, one lesson a day, plus I'm also researching and programming other topics she hasn't covered on the course yet to apply to my Python programs. Is it bad?

2022.01.25 02:08 Axeman517 Wireless chargers

I have an iPhone7, and my wireless charging pad’s cable is on its last legs.
Can anyone direct me to which cable I need to replace it?
Also, if I buy a new wireless charger that says it’s compatible with iPhone X or 13, etc, will it also work on a 7?
Thanks in advance! I’m dumb about this stuff.

2022.01.25 02:08 niekdh99 Is Dance with the devil the best song ever?

Before i start I have to explain what I mean by “best ever”
In my eyes best ever doesn’t mean most popular, best beat or best lyrics.
I think it’s the best ever because of how well it was written and what it does to people while listening to it.
Admit it, the first time you listened to the song you thought: okay dope lyrics with a sick dark type beat. then the plot twists and you were shocked. You rewinded the song and started to interpret the meaning behind it.
I think that there are very few songs with this effect on people. This alongside the good beat and flow makes it the best ever for me.

2022.01.25 02:08 AlgaeNymph Are planeswalkers omnilingual? If so, how?

Like the title asks. I'm guessing so since planeswalkers seem to be able to hop from one plane to another without having to spend half a year learning the local language. (I haven't read any of the books so I'm just conjecturing.) I'm guessing this would extend to written works as well, which would make this pretty potent in when translation's needed. And what is it about a planeswalker's spark that grants such an ability?
Assuming my assumption is correct, of course.

2022.01.25 02:08 supreme-leader-the-o A woman went to a pet shop and immediately spotted a large, beautiful parrot with a sign on the cage that said $50

‘Why so little?’ she asked the pet store owner. The pet store owner looked at her and said ‘Look, I should tell you first this bird used to live in a house of prostitution and sometimes it says some pretty vulgar stuff.’ The woman thought about it and decided to have the bird anyway. She took the bird home and hung its cage up in her living room and waited for it to say something. The bird looked around the room, then at her, and said, ‘New house, new madam.’ The woman was a bit shocked at the implication but then thought ‘That’s not really so bad.’ When her two teenage daughters returned home from school that afternoon, the bird saw them and said ‘New house, new madam, new girls.’ The girls and woman laughed about the situation, considering how and where the parrot had been raised. Moments later, the woman’s husband Keith came home from work. The bird looked at him and said, ‘Hi, Keith!’

2022.01.25 02:08 OtherFutures Warranty Question for Repairing Thinkpad Screen/Lid

I hope this is the right place to ask, but does anyone know if it's possible to get an onsite technician to repair a broken hinge on a P1 Gen 1 Thinkpad? It's not the hinge exactly, but the base of the screen cracked somehow (under normal use) & separated the hinge from the screen & now the internals are exposed & I can't really adjust the screen without making the problem worse (I'm not sure if I can even close it without breaking it all the way). The LCD's fine & everything works (although there's a hairline crack on the glass that's visible from certain angles), but obviously it's not ideal.
The warranty lapsed a few years ago but I upgraded it to premier onsite, even though it was rather expensive to do so now, because I'd heard good things about their warranty & just wanted it sorted. I never had a problem until now as I've never had a laptop break this way so didn't expect to need it & since I'm pretty careful with it. When I called today, they insisted I have to send it in even when I told them I don't mind paying for the parts to be replaced, I just want it fixed at my place rather than having it shipped because I can't afford to wait up to 2 weeks beginning to end since I need it for work. I feel disappointed with the warranty process compared to some of the stories I've heard about it because basically it'd be the same process without the warranty really. I'm currently using a wireless keyboard because I'm afraid of making it worse by just touching it (just typing on it last night made the gap wider after the screen slipped off the hinge again).
I don't mind doing the repair myself, but I don't have much experience (the most I've ever done is repaste the thermal paste). I also don't know a reputable seller of parts. I'd feel much more comfortable having someone do it for me, but time is the issue. I live in a major US city if that makes any difference. Please help!

2022.01.25 02:08 molehunterz Gay Bros, thoughts on European travel?

A wedding invite has given me an easy excuse to take a trip to Europe. I've only been once and it was to Portugal and I absolutely loved it.
I plan on utilizing public transit while I'm there. I plan on doing the whole trip on the cheap...ish.
The wedding itself is in Istanbul. I have heard it is a fairly beautiful city, and part of the wedding family is going to show us around. Before and after getting to Istanbul I have some freedom.
I am thinking about flying into London. Kind of interested in exploring England and maybe Edinburgh? I thought about trying to make it to Ireland but I don't know anything about where or what to do there other than get drunk in an Irish pub. Kind of open to thoughts and suggestions on this part of the trip. I was kind of thinking seven or eight days? I do most of my sightseeing in the cities on foot. I will not likely be spending money to wait in lines at standard tourist attractions... I know there is stuff to see inside many of these places, but I am content admiring them from outside for now. I am thinking london, newcastle, Edinburgh baby Bristol? But I hear there are awesome little towns in the English countryside... But I wouldn't have a clue between this town and that
After the wedding, a couple friends are discussing the possibility of traveling from Istanbul to Budapest for a couple days and then taking the train to Vienna. A couple of days there and then train to Prague. Then flying home... I've heard amazing things about these cities and the pictures look like something I would absolutely love to explore endlessly.
Looking around, travel around Europe seems so much easier than here in the states, so I'm open to changing these plans if people have suggestions that pull me.
I absolutely want to see many places in Spain, but that definitely seems the farthest away from where I am going to be so I am kind of figuring that as a different trip altogether in the future. (I would like to spend an entire trip in just spain, or Spain and Portugal.)
I love history, architecture, food. Don't like crowds, lines. I like art, but I don't think I appreciate it enough to make it a focus. I know just a tiny bit of spanish, and I learned enough German in school that I think I could get by, although I have forgotten a lot of it. But right now I don't have plans to make it to Germany.
If you have been to any of those places and have suggestions, I am a note taker! If there are places you think I should be looking at, let me know and I will get on my Google and ride it hard.
