Started a new playthrough mainly using faith if someone would like to do some jolly co-op I'd really appreciate it. Probably going to stick around the low levels 35-50 just for the early covenant items but will most definitely need help with the dancer lol

2021.11.27 20:03 TheInfiniteEgg What do you do if your players' first thought is to go to the cops every time?
I'm sorta running into the end of my rope here. My players are all great roleplayers, and a great group to run games for.
I'm running Horror on the Orient Express for them, and every single city they go to, their first thing is to tell the cops to go investigate the problem for them. It's genuinely a little grating. 3 off-the-dome examples:

2021.11.27 20:03 brassbricks Maps of Edo and Kyoto, circa 1500's-1600's
I am doing a slightly weird alt-Sengoku era Japan campaign with all the good parts pushed together so I got my Onin War and my Mongols and my Nanboku-Cho all in one time. Plausible? Don't care, it's a cheerful mishmash of my favorite stuff. That's the fun part about alternate timelines.
I need a playable map of early 1600's Edo for the campaign, which has developed into an alternate capital for the Northern Court away from Kyoto. There are lots of maps, all in Japanese, all very crowded. I need one adapted for use by role-players, not so much by historians.
Same deal with Kyoto, which fortunately still has much of the same streetplan it has had since the Heian period. I've been there a few times, and have a rough idea of what was where, but I could still really use a playable map of Sengoku-period Kyoto suitable for roleplaying. I have come up mostly empty-handed.
Do any of you have such maps, or could provide a link to such maps? many thanks in advance if you can help.

2021.11.27 20:03 Y-DEZ What features does KDE have that other DEs/WMs don't?
After trying Plasma mobile I've been thinking of trying KDE Plasma desktop again.
I've always been a light weight DE/WM guy though.
I'm curious what features KDE has that might make it worth switching despite the resource usage.

2021.11.27 20:03 Malikanahl Confidence and posture
I lack so much confidence that over the years I pretty much damaged my back due to terrible posture. Around people I pretty much hunch over, I don’t know why I do it but it’s almost like I want to crawl into an invisible shell. Does anyone have any tips to stop doing this. I’m going to start physical therapy to try to fix the damage but I need to get myself to stop making myself so small every time I’m in public.

2021.11.27 20:03 cryptamp [USA-MN-MSP] [H] Breville Dual Boiler BES900XL [W] USD and/or Grinder
Gallery and Timestamp
Professional barista owned for low-volume home use. Well cared for, backflushed after every use, Cafiza cleaned at least weekly, and only filled with filtered/conditioned water (in addition to the in-tank filtering). Everything works as it did when brand new and includes all the parts and tools, including five sealed Breville water filters and four aftermarket ones. We're upgrading to a higher-end machine or we'd keep gladly keep using this one.
Hoping to get $800 or a grinder plus cash (e.g., Sette 270, Niche Zero).

2021.11.27 20:03 blondie-- It is before the Victorian era, and I am getting married in an Anglophone country. What song plays as I walk down the aisle?
"Here Comes the Bride" was released in 1850, and Pachelbel's Canon in D was not published until the early 20th century, despite being composed centuries prior (according to Brittanica). Were there other songs that are no longer popular? Would I walk in silence? Would it just be a hymn appropriate for the time of year?
