Hey! So I'm looking for a scene (I think it's between S01-S09) where Homer's looking at his calendar and there are several references to him stalking a celebrity
I think it might be a talk show host, and he might be at work, if anybody can help me pin down the episode that would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

2021.11.27 19:34 ArtimusDragon A Few Unreleased Pokémon I'd Like To See Next Season
Just like some of you reading this when I first glimpsed over the S10 update I was filled with extreme disappointment and disgust. This has to be a joke I thought. There's no way S10 is going to be this stale. OK, the cups and the move updates to Donphan, Magcargo, Noctowl and Octillery were very much welcomed but this whole Rock Tomb nonsense... I'm still trying to figure it out. But then I remembered that with new seasons come unreleased Pokémon. There's was a lot more they could've done to spruce things up but I guess this is fine. Let's just hope Niantic gives us some good ones. Eh? Here are a few on my wishlist.
Doublade & Aegislash, Ghost/Steel - Pokémon Go is my introduction to Pokémon games but from what I hear these two are going to be big. They should be great Pokémon for GL and UL thanks to their unique dual typing, stats and movepools.
Hawlucha, Fighting/Flying - Another Pokémon with a unique typing that will reshape GL and possibly UL. With the right fighting and flying moveset it can help break up any core.
Primarina, WateFairy - Guys, gals, I have been waiting for this Pokémon for years and hope to Arceus that it doesn't have to wait for its CD to be relevant. I never evolve anything that I know will get an exclusive move but with Primarina an exception will be made if its moves are usable. UL specifically will be reshaped by it and who knows perhaps MLPC also.
Hisuian Zoroark, Normal/Ghost - Waiting, a ghost type that resists ghost? A normal type that resists fighting? Where do I sign? You want to talk about meta changer well, here you go. The ghost typing is always one of the strongest in the franchise. Slap it together with the normal typing and you can do no wrong.
Araquanid, WateBug - They broke the mold with this specimen. Bug and water is such an amazing dual typing that was slept on after Surskit was discovered so I'm glad it was brought back. It's a very special typing combo too due to them being super effective to 2/3 of bug weaknesses. It's also a defensive critter. Makes me sad that it doesn't evolve but that could change down the line one day. But that's probably not going to be an issue thanks to my next entry.
Golisopod, Bug/Water - Everything I said about Araquanid goes double for this brawler because we seriously need this Pokémon for UL and ML. The best part about it is that it can operate in restricted metas where legendaries and mythicals aren't allowed. On top of that... it looks insanely cool.
Marshadow, Fighting/Ghost - My concern about this coming to go is that because it's a mythical we may only get one which would really be unfortunate due to how strong it is. Aside from that a fighting ghost is just what the coroner ordered. It took a big hit when it went under and continues to keep on swinging.
Dragapult, Dragon/Ghost - It took TPC some time but 4 long generations later the dragon and ghost dual typing has once again resurfaced and this time it has been given to a psuedo legendary family. It's going to be really cool getting to use this in cups where legendaries and mythicals are banned. But it's probably going to be hard as hell to farm them. Not sure about you but I'm still waiting on a decent Axew, Goomy, etc. 😕
Grimmsnarl, Dark/Fairy - Every Pokémon has a Ying to its Yang and for Dragapult it's Grimmsnarl. Don't give us one without the other, Niantic. Don't you dare. Everything about this Pokémon is appealing. So please no gating behind eggs. Raids are the way if anything.
Eternatus, Poison/Dragon - This is the type of Pokémon that Mewtwo has been waiting for. There are very, very few poisons that can match its alpha level damage. One can only hope that Hoopa drops an unexpected bomb on us sooner than later with Eternatus because its stats and movepool are off the charts.
There are so many incredible Pokémon out there but I'll stop at 10 for this post. With how slowly Niantic/TPC releases Pokémon in this game these days that we'll probably only see half of these debut in Pokémon Go. I'll take that if it means they'll add a brand new level of strategy.

2021.11.27 19:34 Dazzler_3000 What do you do in the game?
Thinking of buying this as it's constantly on top 10 lists and I see alot of videos about it. I don't think I'd get much fun out of it if it was just an arena type combat game.
I've searched and can see there is no story mode but are there challenges/objectives to complete or is there a progression system?
It says it's a sandbox game but I'm not really sure what it means in this context.
Just want to understand what you actually do in the game.

Prices drops, but still prices are OBO!
Keycaps and switches not included with the Infinitum. Board in great condition, I'd say polished weight is 9/10 because it's not without some ever so slight imperfections, but you have to hunt for them. One hotswap PCB via mill max sockets, one PCB with three missing diodes that need fixing [d2, d53, d89, two diodes in the bag, will need to source the third one] though only one daughterboard, one aluminum plate, one polycarbonate plate, and included Eniigma keyboard case.
Prices include shipping to CONUS. CONUS strongly preferred, but can discuss international shipping. No chats, only PM as I'm usually on mobile so I don't see them.
|Bro Taichung Froper||$130|
|Bro Taichung Erebus||$130|
|Bro Poppin Broshido||$130|
|Alpha Keycaps HFO Keypora||$140|
|Straight USB mini cables (about 80" long give or take, one white and one grey)||$10 each, or $15 for both|

2021.11.27 19:34 PlantsBugsStuff Tidal/Coastal Isopods
Does anyone have any experience or knowledge regarding the care of tidal/coastal isopods. There is a tidal salt marsh near by (Central Florida - Gulf Coast) and I have found plenty of isopods there. I’d love to start a colony of them but I’m really unsure about their needs and requirements. I do know that they need brackish water but I’m unsure how to maintain that in an enclosure. Any help or experiences shared would be most appreciated!

2021.11.27 19:34 i_love_dinosaurss Real life is so boring
Everything else besides fiction is so boring to me. It should've been obvious since that that's the whole point of fiction. But I just finished watching a pretty good TV series (Arcane, if anyone was curious) and I got sucked into it, more than other books or shows. It was fun to imagine what I would do if I was in a character's place or how things would play out if I changed an event.
I had a little taste of excitement and great storytelling, and that boredom of reality hits harder than before now that I've finished the series. I guess I have a habit of getting too attached to ideas instead of trying to appreciate reality. Even the hobbies that appeal to me the most came from trying to bring some fantasy idea I had into real life.
Sorry if this read super self-centered, though I think a lot of the posts here are somewhat like that. I'm just throwing a thought I had out there.

2021.11.27 19:34 DNRDNIMEDIC2009 Final Girl taught me something
The importance of theme. I'm pretty new to board games in general and even newer to solo games. But I have a few. So far, I have Under Falling Skies, Coffee Roaster, One Deck Dungeon, Maquis, Friday, and I just got Final Girl. I've also been going through JotL.
Of all of them. Under Falling Skies and Final Girl are my winners. The theme and presentation is what keeps them together. For me, a solo game has to be challenging. I don't want to win every game. A good theme creates a story with your actions and with the events. A good theme means failure still tells a good story. This is where I think FG excels. Presentation is also important. The mothership coming towards you in UFS instantly brings me into that setting. And the game gets more tense as the mothership gets closer and closer. I don't think that would happen without its components. I don't think I would enjoy it nearly as much as a pnp.
The gameplay arc if those games also really fits the theme. In UFS, your decisions have much bigger consequences than the early game because you don't have much room to spare. There are times where you have to sacrifice damage. It feels like the climax of an alien invasion movie. In FG, you often spend the early and mid-game saving victims and getting stronger until you're ready to face the bad guy. It mirrors horror movies really well.
I don't need a strong theme from multiplayer games because I'm engaged with other people. But for solo games, something needs to keep me engaged. A lot of the other games I have just feel like I'm solving puzzle. And there are no real stakes. Losing in those games doesn't feel fun. Getting caught by the Milice in Maquis doesn't really have much impact. It just feels like you lost a game. I don't leave feeling like I had a great experience. I had fun but the experience is nothing to write home about. The play area on those other games just become numbers. I love them but after awhile, I'm not even looking at the cards or events. It's all numbers and the impact on the puzzle is all that matters.
I found JotL great but only because the game is so good. It's really fun to play and you can do some really cool stuff. I'm still doing the tutorials but there's nothing like when you make that perfect move. The only thing I can see me disliking about it is that it's not designed for you to lose. The game is more about victories than failures. I think one of the fun things about coop and solo games is the journey to the end regardless of the outcome. Sure it's great to win, but you should have a good time losing. I haven't failed in JotL yet but I have a feeling that it's not going to be a happy ending. It's just going to feel like now I have to replay this mission. With the other games, I change things up the next time I play so every time I play is an isolated event and whatever happens is just tied to that singular experience. Playing the same scenario again isn't very appealing to me especially if it's a long one. I can see the drive to winning becoming the prize of not having to replay the mission.
I also backed a few solo games on KS that I'm waiting on. These are Nemo's War, Get to da Checkpoint, and Paperback Adventures. After playing FG and realizing what I really like, I don't know if these will be hits for me. I'm going to have fun in them but I don't think the theme are going to really catch me. Nemo's War has the highest chance but I don't know about how the game ties into the theme. And I'm not a huge fan of games that are score based.
Spirit Island is the next game for me. It seems the nail the theme thing. Is there anything else I should check out with a strong theme that ties into gameplay?

2021.11.27 19:33 Wiegl The List
First of, let me just say that I am a guy that isn't easily disturbed by movies/series/games/etc...
I have seen real life gore videos where people get killed in the most fucked up ways you can imagine. I have seen the cracked forehead and the popped out eyes of a man that was executed by terrorists in HD slow motion and it didn't faze me in the slightest. I have killed and eaten animals irl and I didn't feel anything and yet there used to be 3 movies that truly made me uncomfortable.
Those 3 movies in no particular order are:
and The Road
I have watched the series and I've just finished the third film of Made in Abyss and as of today, there are 4 entries on this list.
